in this trade its 2 trades, one is a three team including the Lakers, Blazers and Spurs. with the 2nd trade involving the Raptors and the Lakers

TRADE 1

in this first 3 team trade, the Lakers send out Rui and DLO plus JHS a 1st in 2029 and 2 2nds, in the trade the majority of value is going to the Blazers in return for Simons,

Trading DLO in a sign and trade works best for both teams, Spurs get the PG playmaker who can also make there own shot when needed. getting DLO is a cheaper option who can easily average 20p a game for a season, yes the Spurs would be loving young players but this would be a small step into building the best team around Wemby

Trading RUI - JHS a 1st and a 2nd plus Branham from Portland is most likely not the biggest package but in my eyes, getting depth for a player and also a 1st which has very high potential which might be a top 5 pick in 2029, they get Rui who could start, JHS who under the right coaching might gel into a solid NBA player and Branham who can play the backup 1 behind scoot.

TRADE 2

This trade is done by the Lakers to try and fill the gap in a player they traded away in RUI, trading for Olynyk who is a catch and shoot 3pt shooter who can stretch the floor, and basically sit in the corner and shoot threes in where he shoots 38.7% from the 3pt line. which would make him the 3rd best shooter on the team. the Raptors in my opinion would make this deal because the Raptors are in need of a bench PG if quickley was to leave in free agency.
