This deal makes sense for both teams. Cavs are looking for that wing defender who can hit the 3 who fits the cores age. At age 26 A Wiggins fitsbCavs core timeline.

With Return of K Thompson & emergence of J Kuminga & moody & Gary Payton Jr... WIGGINS max deal is crazy to spend.

This deal lands Warriors Rubios expiring 18mil which can be stretched or they could keep & resign to a vet min deal next year.

This deal saves them 6 mil this yr which takes their luxury tax bill down. Warriors tax is like 200mil this yr. Tax bill is craxy.

Moving Wiggins makes alot of cents..

And alotbof sense especially with K Thompson returning.

Besides Rubios expiring deal warriors also get rights to Sextons deal in RFA.

Cavs get wiggins who is still only 26. Remember Cle traded Wiggins for Love when Lebron returned from Miami.

Wiggins at 26 fits Cle core and is a Defensive upgrade to Sexton. Also he fits Cle timeline.

The price for cap relief & Sexton cost Warriors wiggins expiring 1 yr deal which they are simply in no position to extend w luxury tax situation & getting Sexton will give them a scorer at all 3x levels at prob. Half price coming off injury. Warriors can match any deal or do sign n trade.

Pangos is just fillerb& will be cut.

This deal incl a late 1st in 22 going to Cle which will convey.

This is cost of getting cap relief. Warriors strike now to get max value back on wiggins & save on tax bill.

Plus Warriors are big on both Rubio & sexton.
