Preseason workouts boost certain attributes you think your player needs to improve on. You have one key workout which will give the highest boost and you also have other mini workouts, the amount based on your salary, to give a slight boost to attributes of your choice.

(note: you don’t yet have stats for your players since they’re rookies so you’ll have to guess what attributes they need work on):
Most players are on minimum contracts so they will have only the key workout but some players drafted a little higher have some 1-3 million contracts so they will receive a few mini workouts. I have those players and the corresponding amount of minis listed below:
