Thoughts:
Jabari Smith would go number 1 in any other draft class, that guy going three is going to make a team real happy.
I think Jalen Duren is a bit overrated. He does not have a consistent jumpshot, if any, and yes I understand he’s young, but I still don’t see the appeal in him going number 4. I’d rather take him in the latter half of the top 10.
I don’t know if anyone expected Keegan Murray to have this great a start to the season. Iowa’s jumped straight from the Luka Garza era into another great one. Murray is making some leaps in this draft class.
I still love Jaden Ivey’s game. He’s just got all the tools to be a stud combo guard in the NBA. And he’s taking Purdue on his back in a potential top 2 AP ranking year. Props.
I’m unsure on TyTy Washington. People say he’s top 10 and then others say he’s a late first rounder. I’m going to say he’s in the middle. A solid 18th or 17th pick.
Terrence Shannon Jr. is going to be good. He’s playing for a not-so-great Texas Tech team but in big games he has stepped up. And I really do think that jumpshot is going to translate well to NBA ball.
