Rockets get rid of 2 hefty contracts without having to deal any 1st round picks. They get the equivalent contract of Westbrook but in terms of talent and productivity for Rockets Russ is better. The only thing that went wrong for Russ is his fit in Lakers but he would arguably be the best player in thr Rockets lineup and will be a leader within for the young core. Rockets also get 2028 FRP as a topper

Warriors would be looking to combine the 3 best 3 point shooters in the league Curry Klay and Buddy Hield to have a triple threat sniper offense and Tristan Thompson would be valuable at C for GSW
