Hawks:

Ik everyone will be like: HAWKS ARE CONTENDING WHY THEY DO THIS.

Trading Capela to open up the mins to Okongwu, cus he deserves his mins, and he still hv potential to be even better.

Trading Collins to get more defense besides Trae, Vanderbilt hv great ability as a big to switch.

This trade makes Hawks a very solid defensive team, as well as adding back picks amount.

Why will they take Westbrook? Well they hvn't had their backup PG, Westbrook sucks on offense, but defensively he's still way above average

I also want to point out that the 3 picks they getting are valuable, no one knows if Knicks can figure out their team around Mitchell, Lakers by 2027 shouldn't be a contending team, and by 2028 Clippers shouldn't hv PG and Kawhi alrdy

Lakers:

Don't forget that they can't get all vets, they still need future to not give out good odds picks

Randle is there for 4 years, at least he can help winning a bit

Fournier and Gay are also win now players but they on bad contracts so Lakers can save some assets for that

Ofc they need to move Westbrook, ofc Randle isn't the best fit, he can still be there in the future, and I saw reports sayin Lakers will eye on Randle if Mitchell is traded to the Knicks

Knicks:

Knicks are still the favourite for Mitchell, but this time I got them trading Randle and Fournier, using their big contract and 5 frps to get Mitchell. They're not givving up any young guys, but getting an all nba player. This is an absolutely great trade for them

Jazz:

It is still possible for them to completely blow things up. Mitchell rumours is still flying around

Here they will get 4 frps, some of them are heavily protected, but then they also get an all star caliber player with John Collins, and a solid vet who should be flippable next season with Morris SR, also a young two way player Brandon Boston.

Tgt with my trade be4 with the Heat: https://fanspo.com/nba/s/general/trades/rAVkD0qRqsXr_g/-heat-all-in-move-jazz-regrp-and-get-2-frps-

And the previous Royce O'Neal and Gobert trade, they now got back 11 frps from all these, as well as some great young players.

I think this will be a successful semi blowup for them (cus they also take Collins, full rebuild Collins shouldn't be here)

Clippers:

After the departure of Isaiah Hartenstein, i think it's best to hv another C.

On the PF spot, Clippers alrdy hv Batum and Covington, Morris SR won't get much mins, and Clippers won't use him much anyways

They will make Zubac to be a great backup C, and i like Capela's ability to catch lobs, this is kinda lacking in the Clippers team, the domination in the paint

Time to go all in for the Clippers, this is their real chance for the chip

Predicted popular question:

Q: Why will the Hawks do this fr?

A: Capela are taking away Okongwu's mins, not sayin Capela don't deserve those mins, but i think Okongwu deserves his mins, idk if u get what i mean, but i think Hawks using Okongwu as their starting C won't be a problem.

Then, there are some Collins rumours be4, not some big one, but i think Hawks definitely want to get better on D. Yes they will lose offense in this trade, but that builds up a great defensive team with great future assets.

Also, last year's Delon Wright is very solid, with his defense backing up Trae, yes they also traded for Dejounte Murray alrdy, but then Trae and Murray should play tgt most of the time, Hawks still need a backup PG, Westbrook might hv even better D than Delon Wright, and Westbrook just hv his down season, season be4 he's averaging a triple double.
