By doing this trade the Clippers are getting a great big 3 of Lowry, George, and Leonard. Lowry also has championship experience from when he played alongside Kawhi. If the Clippers want to make a championship run they need another star that already has championship experience and Lowry can be that guy.

The raptors are getting a pretty good return for Lowry. They would have gotten a first if the Clippers didn’t trade all their firsts to the Thunder.
