Sabonis goes back to his more natural position as PF (as in his Indiana days), making the Pistons the best team in the East. This must happen now before the Celtics, Pacers, and Magic get good again.

Pistons

• Sabonis is the best stretch 4 in the game, which the Pistons desperately need.

• He is a fantastic scorer and rebounder and a phenomenal playmaker for a big and should work perfectly with Cade.

• His shortcoming on defense should be hidden very well by Duren.

• The East is going to have a very weak season or two because of Tatum and Haliburton. The Pistons have to seize the opportunity now and cannot afford to wait to see if and when all pieces fall into place for them.

• All those reasons make the slight overpay for Sabonis worth it

Kings

• This is not working. Something has to change. Sabonis did not deliver them to the promised land or even remotely close to that. The supporting cast was fine, and there were no significant injuries to excuse these failures. But it's time to move on and shake things up.

3 FRP are more than fair for DS, and both Stewart could have a big upside if he could stay healthy and Harris has neutral/slightly positive value
