Mavs get Osae to finish the year to play good defense, also get another player that can play center, Oshae is in on a one year deal so he doesn’t have too much of a purpose and Theis has 3 more years left making almost 10 million which isn’t something you want on the roster. Bullock fits the scenario more because it’s one less year and Tyrese has more shooters to pass to.
