Hornets have also been reported multiple times to be interested in acquiring Westbrook for cap reasons and to ACTUALLY play him unlike most trade talks with the Lakers.

Why the Lakers 🏆 do this !?

• Terry is a 22 ppg scorer which the Lakers desperately need, Terrys is having a down year shooting but the last 3/4 seasons he has shot atleast over 37% from the 3 point line.

• Kelly is a 6'7 foward who can play the 2,3 or 4 and is very good at switching on defense. This season he averages 20ppg and 1.5 steals per game which would be a great addition.

• Plumlee is averaging 12/10 on 67% from the field in which Lakers need big man depth and plumlee is the perfect guy to do so.

The Lakers would drastically improve on depth and have already acquired Rui which this deal would make them set to make a run at the playoffs.

Why the Hornets 🐝 would do this !??

• Plumlee and Kelly are on 1yr contracts and they could easily walk away if they get offered better in free agency.

• Hornets have said that they actually want to play Westbrook and they could end up resigning him in the off-season for less.

• This deal gets them off the Terry Rozier contract that they would be stuck with for 4 years.

• They get a valuable Lakers 1st in return plus 2 2nds.
