Grizzlies - This helps them retain a lot of depth and youth while significantly improving there lineup for a deep playoff run. The only core player they give up is Anderson. Grant adds a little bit of everything to the team and he’s still 27 but has 7 years of experience and adds a veteran presence to the team that could do with one. While it hurts to give up Ziaire Williams who they just drafted in the lottery it’s worth it for the return, the picks they give up are most likely late ones and they still have a first and second every year. Lineup after this trade: Ja(Jones)-Bane(Melton)-Grant(Brooks)-JJJ(Clarke)-Adams(Tillman). Even just typing up that lineup that’s an insane amount of depth, I strongly believe that this squad can make the conference finals this year and be a championship contender for the foreseeable future.

Pistons - They’ve been searching for the right Grant trade and they find it here. They get Williams who is a 6 8 sharpshooter (Ik he hasn’t shown it yet in the NBA but I still below in him), Culver - who has been a bit of disappointment so far but as a Wolves fan he’s showed flashes of being a good player and I still believe in him. He probably will be able to be resigned for cheap enough as well so is a good asset to have. On top of that they get Anderson who is on an expiring deal so won’t take up cap space after this year. They also get 2 firsts in the upcoming draft to add to their crop of young players.
