CELTICS: The Celtics are in need of scoring, and with Founrier being one of the more wanted free agents, it is very, very possible that someone else just gives him 20+ million, something I doubt the Celtics would offer. If so, then this would be good for them. Barton could be like the Evan Fournier, be a solid scorer and also can defend and be a solid playmaker. In addition, they'd add Cam Reddish, a player who can defend, has a nice handle and has played well in this past years playoffs. Giving up Smart is hard, but the return they get makes it too good to pass up I believe.
NUGGETS: The Nuggets need defense, and this would create a lethal starting lineup, one that can totally win it all. They'd be getting Marcus Smart, someone who will be motivated to be better, after missing out on the all nba defense. Adding him with their starting lineup besides Gordon are all bad defenders so smart would be needed. They'd also have Thompson and Compasso for their bench so it wouldn't be too bad along with their pick this year. They'd have to pay a lot in a few years, their starting lineup about 120-130 million, but they'd have a championship team with these steps.
Resign facundo Compasso (3/15)
Resign Triston Thompson (3/15)
THEY'D then be able to get good, veteran ring chasers to fill their bench out, but its about star power to win more then their bench but this would put them in excellent position to win, so yeah, its a slight overpay but winning takes overpaying.
HAWKS: Reddish and Hunter both play the majority of their time at the small forward spot, so that means that it could be hard for them to co-exsist. If one goes, it would defintley be reddish. The Hawks offered him and he was available for much less then this, so this would be a solid return for him. Grant and Nnaji would be solid backups, Grant would be the 3rd string 4 and 5, and Nnaji could be the backup 4, and then they could have Dozier, someone who had his career high in point per game at nearly 8, and a good defender.
