It may be an over reaction, but this all guard team the Kings have going means Halliburton is lost in the shuffle.

As good as he is, I still think Davion was the wrong pick for them and it's 100% because of this reason. There were a bunch of equally talented players in the draft that would have fit the team so much better.. but. I digress.

It's been said there's mutual interest here with Ben and the Kings. He becomes another ball handler, yes, but because of his skill set and how he plays he should theoretically fit better than Halliburton currently does, and he can maybe move away from that and focus more on the defensive end and his slashing game (which are already elite).

Bagley is out of the rotation despite being a 20 and 10 guy per 36min. I really dont understand what's going on with him, but the promise and potential is still there.

By giving up a FRP and 2nds the Kings also get Maxey and Shake. Shake can be used in a lesser Buddy role off the bench, and Maxey is given the bench unit to run.

Maxey may want a bigger role, so the Kings may be able to move him on and be able to find a better fit, but there aren't many teams where Maxey would be a starting PG out there (Thunder? Clippers?).
