This is a simple win-win trade that a thought of, that makes sense for both teams. The Suns have been looking to strengthen their bench with the additions of McGee, the resigning of Payne, and Landry Shamet. They seem to be aggressive enough to be willing to give up a lot, below is why it makes sense for both teams.

SUNS: For the suns, they could use some extra bench support, someone who cab start or be their 6th/7th man. Anderson fills that role nicely. He can do everything well, and can defend, pass, kinda score and just be solid for then. He gives them another forward that can help.

GRIZZLIES: Anderson is taking up time away form players like Brooks and ZHaire, and any other young forwards they have. This gets them another player and a first for him.
