++Rockets++

  • Get off Walls contract and move him to a contender

  • Get a starting wing player who fits the timeline

  • Wiggins helps with KPJ and Greens defensive issues

  • Starting Wiggins at the 3 and Sengun (who has been better than advertised defensively) at the 4 means Wood can take advantage of being a more athletic and stretch 5

  • Bledsoe gives more bench stability than Augustine

  • Taking on Kennards contract is a negative, but becomes their perennial 6th man, and adds much needed shooting

  • Use their cap space to help other teams (Warriors)

Rotation (healthy)

KPJ/Green/Wiggins/Sengun/Wood

Bledsoe/Kennard/Nwaba/KJ/Theis

++Warriors++

  • Save a BUTT tonn if money

  • Get bench playmaking from Gordon and injury replacement while Klay is out

  • Solid vet big who can still stretch the floor

  • Able to give up Wiggins with the number of wings on their roster

Rotation (healthy)

Steph/Klay/OPJ/Draymond/Ibaka

Poole/Gordon/Tate/Kuminga/Wiseman

++Pacers++

  • Fix their two bigs "issue"

  • Lean into a slight rebuild

  • Get wing reassurance in TJ Warren's absence

Rotation (healthy)

Brogdon/Lavert/Warren/Morris/Sabonis

McConnell/Duarte/House/Craig/Goga

++Clippers++

  • Upgrade at the one spot

  • Hope Wall declines his second year to sign a team friendly deal

  • get another "all star" next to PG while Kawhi is out

  • find a permanent 5

  • fills out the rest of the bench with guys who have filled in, in Kawhis absence

Rotation (healthy)

Wall/Mann/Kawhi/PG/Turner

Reggie/Keon/Batum/Winslow/Zubac

++Final thoughts++

Each team has a genuinely good Rotation that can be filled out by guys juuuuust on the cusp (Rockets - Looney, Brooks, Theis. Warriors - Moody, Iggy. Pacers - Brisett, Jackson. Clippers - Hartenstein). Pacers mayyy want more for Turner. Rockets could turn those 2 second rounders into the 2023 Bucks pick and Clippers could add a couple of their second rounders. Warriors luxury bill gets reduced significantly which is a huge deal. With so many wings (OPJ, Iggy, Kuminga, Moody) they can afford to let one go. Went back and forth between Gordon or Bledsoe on the Warriors, but ultimately thought Gordon fit better.
