Why for the Pacers? The take on 0 bad contracts with majority of the players expiring after the year while acquiring the 4 pick to grab a guy they really want in Ivey and get a good look at a young big capable of stretching the floor for the young guards in Rui. Holmes is also a nice piece too and can be traded for future assets at the deadline if Indiana chooses to do so
Why for Washington? They go all in for a resigning Bradley Beal. Not much else to explain as each player acquired can fill a big role on a team built for the playoffs
Why for the Kings? They buy low on Porzingis and acquire an additiinal lottery pick for Barnes and Holmes. Moving from 4 to 6 means less for the Kings since Ivey isn't their guy. Unless the Kings LOVE Keegan Murray (the likely 5 pick) this makes sense to get value and possibly still acquire the player you want in the draft. Porzingis could be an interesting fit with Sabonis too as both can play inside or outside when they're on the floor together
