Ok, so we're going to go team-by-team for the explanation

Bulls: I mean, this trade makes so much sense for the Bulls if they're truly going all-in for the championship. They get a player in Jerami Grant that fills possibly the only hole in their team at the 4, someone who defines the two-way archetype and has proven to be valuable in a playoff series. He can provide a scoring bounce for them, but in key, brings a defensive presence to help against some of their biggest rivals in KD, Giannis, etc. Yes, they're giving up good talent in Coby White and DJJ, along with some good draft capital because that Portland pick is likely going to convey in the lottery this year; but if the Bulls truly believe they can contend, giving up that youth and those picks don't matter in the face of a championship.

Pistons: Hoo boy, the Pistons get a lot younger, but also a lot worse (something they may want honestly). They get Coby White, a secondary scoring option they're crying out for, but also someone who has great potential to be a backcourt mate with Cunningham as the Hayes experiment doesn't seem to be working out too well. Along with that, they get DJJ, a pure wing defender who should help in matchups, but in key, a lob threat for guards like Cunningham, Hayes, and White; something that they haven't had since entering the league. And they get the wildcard of wildcards in the NBA, Marvin Bagley. Bagley is an extremely weird player, neither a 4 or a 5, neither a unicorn or a prototypical big, he's someone who's had a horrible time in Sacramento and broken ties with them. But if there's one place that'll let him play and experiment, it'll be in Detroit as they go all-out in a youth movement. Also if it doesn't work out, FA this year. Oh and obviously they get great draft capital for giving up Grant in two firsts and two seconds, with the Portland pick likely to convey in the lottery this year; making it a fair return for Grant in my opinion.

Kings: Pretty simple explanation here, Bagley's wanted out for a while and the Kings need to patch things over in their organization to get out of this mess. So they send two SRPs and Bagley for a contributing Trey Lyles to help them in their push for an appearance in god knows how long for the postseason.
