With Zion coming back this is a mid season trade they should do if Cj Mccollum and Zion dont work like I expect them to.

This season the Pelicans main ball handler was Cj Mccolum. This is a role that fits Zion. When he came into the league he was pelicans primary ball handler. If Cj/Zion both want to beth the primary ball handler this wont end up working and the pelicans will struggle to become a playoffs team and will stay as a playin team.

This trade gives them an acutal point guard, a catch and shoot guy and a young star.

Clippers get a Shooting guar allowing Paul george to play Sf and Kawhi Leonard to play Pf.
