hawks do this to get a star next to trae bc hawks have been underperforming and if they want to rush things they could do this move rn. kat will provide so much for the hawks offensively and he will open the space up way more for trae to do his thing offensively which will make the hawks an offensive juggernaut. they essentially lose all their young talent though and pick leverage, however its worth it for someone like kat. unfortuately i could also see hunter possibly being moved as well bc kat's value is so high but im sure the hawks will do their damnest to keep hunter to preserve their defense.

twolves just get a whole bunch of young talent, cam reddish, although not the last two games, has been putting up good scoring numbers and looks great offensively off the bench and he shown signs of being great defensively. minnesota could be the spot where cam could be the 2nd man offensively next to ant and he will get the time to grow and live up to his upside. they also get their future big in onyeka okongwu who shown signs to be a great defensive center, his potential defensively is high and shown flashes of that in the playoffs. kevin huerter who despite his struggles this year has proven that he could be a bucket off the bench and he could be valuable for minny down the line. they also get jalen johnson who could be a great two-way wing for minny and sharife cooper who has great upside offensively. this also implies that dlo will get traded bc this is a full on rebuild so the twolves could get more assets like maybe iq from the knicks, atlanta although that defense would be atrocius, 3 team deal with philly, the options for minny are limitless. they also get oubre bc of cap but they could maybe flip him later or something, minny does that for the picks.

hornets- they get the interior presence they need bc plumlee aint gonna hold it defensively. they give up oubre but the team is so stacked on wings that i dont think it will matter and although they give up carey too i think charlotte would benefit from capelas rim protection so much and also he will thrive with lamelo as he could run pick and rolls with him.
