Pelicans - reports have indicated that the Pelicans would be willing to trade pick #21 for multiple 2nd round picks, since they currently don’t own any due to the Devonte Graham salary dump in 2023. this trade gets them 4 second round picks.
Kings - it’s clear Sacramento needs to improve their roster, and upgrading at SF from Harrison Barnes should be a priority. Cam Johnson is essentially a much better Harrison Barnes, and would fit really well next to Fox and Sabonis. Sacramento does have to trade out of the lottery, but they do get to stay in the draft at pick #21, where they could still grab some solid win-now talent.
Nets - ever since the Jordi Fernandez hire, it seems as if they want to take a more gradual approach. while they don’t own their own pick over the next 3 years and can’t full tank, trading some of their valuable role players for future focused assets does make sense. the Nets currently don’t own any picks in the 2024 draft, and here not only trade into the draft, but trade into the lottery. Harrison Barnes could potentially be flipped to a contender for more value, or stay in Brooklyn and be a useful veteran role player. Sasha Vezenkov is a former Euro MVP who could potentially show some things in Brooklyn as well. the Nets do have to trade 3 second round picks however.
