After losing PJ Tucker last year the heat have been really thin at power forward while also looking to keep fighting for a high playoff spot. That’s why they could bring in a guy like PJ Washington who played at Kentucky with Herro and will give them good shooting, defense, and rebounding in the front court with Bam. The Hornets get good value for trading Washington with a mid to late first round pick, a center who has shown decent potential and a young player who hasn’t yet found his place in the league Cam Reddish. For the Knicks they want to get a solid playoff spot maybe even make it to the second round so adding a player like Martin will improve their defense and shooting while also being another rotational player along with a second round pick from Charlotte.
