WHY BULLS

• Contend for a championship right away with Ball, Lavine, Grant, DeRozan, Vuvecic

• Grant has a great contract and isn't due until 2023. Can go over the cap for Lavine while having a surefire veteran squad built from 1-5.

• Corey Joseph is a savvy vet who will be good for a contender.

WHY PISTONS

Obviously, I'll be a little more in-depth here. Look at my name. I'm a Pistons fan.

• DeAngelo Russell has the skillset that you desire playing on the wing with Cade Cunningham.

• Patrick Willams is the money grab. Getting him and having him on a cheap rookie contract for years to come as he develops along with Cade Cunningham could prove worthy of letting Jerami Grant go and contend over the next few years. Williams has drawn Kawhi Leonard comparisons since the 2020 draft and the Pistons were extremely high on him as he became a fast riser.

• The Pistons need more length and athleticism not only on the court but in between and with Saddiq Bey and Isaiah Stewart. The first game against the Nets after Jerami Grant went down, this showed when Killian Hayes went down. Suddenly they played a lineup on the wings of Saben Lee, Cade Cunningham, Hamadiou Diallo, along with Beef Stew and suddenly they went on a tear. They need an athletic guard on the wings with Cade Cunningham. Killian Hayes isn't that guard.

• DeAngelo Russell is known as an great closer. Cade Cunningham has great closer potential as well. Believe me, these two could be magic together.

WHY DENVER

• They don't even play Bol Bol and he wants out.

• Getting another veteran on their contending roster along with three 2nd round picks is a plus for a player they don't play. These are tradeable assets which will help as they remain close to the cap year in and year out.
