This mock takes place in the 2023 offseason. We will be doing a 2022 draft and free agency.
Features:
Coaches (Me): Every coach has their preferred target. For instance, Greg Popovich might want a shooter, you would have to complete that task.
Owners (Me): The owner decides the direction the team is going in. Rebuilding, contending, buying, and etc. They also have specific players they want on the squad.
How Free Agency Will Work: You make a pitch and a bid on the player you want. You must convince them why they should join your team. Some players don't want money, they want to win.
Agents: An agent is a guy hired by the players to deal with contract negotiations, free agency, and other GM front office level negotiations. They handle marketing the player, and they are his legal representative.
Extra Info: This simulation will be 20 years. We will not be doing a second round for any draft classes.
