Jae Crowder wants out of Phoenix for whatever reason but the Suns still haven’t managed to move him yet. I feel like both sides would accept this deal. This trade was inspired by the Thaddeus Young deal to the Kings that I made as part of my Raptors Reset series.

Why the Suns do this:

Right now, Jae Crowder is not valuable to the Suns. He’s not playing and wants to be traded. This is a HAUL for Crowder, acquiring Lyles to give a few minutes off the bench, THREE second rounders, and savings in the short- and long-term.

Why the Kings do this:

The Kings have been a pleasant surprise this season. If they want to succeed in the playoffs, they need wing depth and veteran leadership. Crowder brings both, as a solid wing that has been on the biggest stage and can be a leader in Sacramento.
