WHY ROCKETS DO IT:
A 3-D for a tanking team (and also expiring) is useless, so out of him they get 2 seconds and a young player.
WHY KINGS DO IT:
LeVert is slightly better than Buddy, more gifted offensively and same trash defensively. Holiday is a nice 3-D who would help their defense.
Starting 5: Fox, Hali, LeVert, HB, Holmes
Second Unit: Davion, Holiday, Moe, Bagley, TT
With a decent coach this is a play in lock.
WHY SUNS DO IT:
Nobody knows when TJ will come back, but he'll come back at some point. Saric won't for sure. For just 2 seconds they get a pretty decent player for their rotation.
WHY INDIANA DO IT:
Everybody knows Indy main problem: Sabonis-Turner fit, but I'm not going to talk about it now.
Pretty much they swap Caris with Buddy, a much better fit for Carlisle. Then, they get a younger version than Holiday but with good playoffs experience. Last, they swap TJ Warren, who won't likely re-sign unless they give him a raise, for Saric and 2 little picks: Dario won't come back this season, but he's perfect for Rick and they don't have this type of player. He would be very useful next year.
Next year's rotation:
Starting 5: Brogdon, Buddy, Duarte, Turner, Sabonis
Second Unit: TJ, House, Craig, Saric, Goga + Lamb (or full MLE) and young players
