Comment Opinions Please. Is This Good? Read The Full Description As All The Trade Details, Draft Picks, & Free Agent Signings Are There.

1. Send Gary Trent Jr, Chris Boucher, Khem Birch, & 2025 Top 3 Protected 1st To The Washington Wizards For Bradley Beal In A Sign & Trade Worth $170 Million Over Four Years

Why ?: Beal would instantly turn the Raptors into legit title contenders. Their starting five would easily be on of the best in the league.

2. Deal Malachi Flynn To The Charlotte Hornets For 2022 2nd(#45)

Why ?: Flynn hasn’t panned out for Toronto unfortunately, so it’s time to move on from him. A change of scenery would benefit both sides.

3. Trade Dalano Banton, 2025 2nd, & 2028 Option To Swap 2nd Rounders To The Oklahoma City Thunder For 2022 2nd(#34)

Why ?: To gain basically another late first in the upcoming draft.

4. Draft Christian Koloko(C, 7’1 230) With The #33 Pick In The 2022 NBA Draft

Why ?: He’s a very athletic & energetic center that projects to be a solid rim protector in the league. Koloko is a good rebounder & knows how to finish plays above the rim.

5. Draft Jean Montero(PG, 6’2 175) With The #34 Pick In The 2022 NBA Draft

Why ?: Montero is a quick guard that excels at attacking the rim & finding the open man. He’ll either attempt to score the basketball or dish it out for an assist. He just needs to work on his 3pt shooting & on ball defense.

6. Draft Vince Williams Jr(SF, 6’6 215) With The #45 Pick In The 2022 NBA Draft

Why ?: If teams are looking for an NBA ready 3&D role player, look no further than Vince. He’s a versatile scorer that can knock shots down & play solid defense.

7. Sign Malik Monk Using The Full MLE On A Three Year Contract Worth $34 Million

Why ?: Monk would be an excellent 6th man option for Toronto that can play with either VanVleet or Beal in the lineup. I believe Toronto would make great use of him & turn him into a secondary scoring option.

8. Resign Thaddeus Young To A Two Year Contract Worth $8 Million

Why ?: They literally traded their first for him for a reason. It would be wrong to let him walk when his leadership & size can be used.

9. Resign Yuta Watanabe To A One Year Deal Worth The Minimum($1.6 Million)

Why ?: Fill out rest of the bench.

10. Sign Chris Chiozza To A To A One Year Deal Worth The Minimum($1.6 Million)

Why ?: Fill out rest of the bench.

Why Washington Does This?

Yes they unfortunately move on from Beal but they replace him with a solid young option in GTJ along with another rotational piece in Boucher & a future 1st. If Beal wants to play for Toronto with Barnes & the crew, this is pretty nice compensation in my opinion for the Wizards in order to stay afloat around Porzingis.

I’d still have Washington remain competitive by sending KCP & Kuzma to the Chicago Bulls for Coby White & Nikola Vucevic. This deal gives the Wizards one of the best shooting front courts in the league & a very intriguing backcourt to work with. Then I would also have them draft TyTy Washington Jr at 8 to give them point guard depth & someone who can also compete for the starting job. I feel that this squad without Beal could be a play-in team or even the 6th seed if all goes right. Here’s their lineup:

White, Trent Jr, Avdija, Porzingis, & Vucevic

Washington Jr, Kispert, Hachimura, Boucher, & Gafford

——————————————————

Why Chicago Does This?

They flip Coby White & Nikola Vucevic for three solid rotational pieces in KCP, Kyle Kuzma, & Khem Birch, all of whom can contribute solid minutes right away. The Bulls would also get another pick to use in the upcoming draft. Both White & Vucevic are expendable due to Ayo Dosunmu’s rise & Chicago’s need for a better defender at the center position.

Next moves I’d make for the Bulls is to sign Jusuf Nurkic using the full MLE & draft Mark Williams at 18 if available to shore up the front court. Obviously resigning LaVine is a must so don’t really need to get into that. I believe Chicago is a better team after these changes & would be in a superior position for a deep playoff run. This would be their lineup down below:

Ball, LaVine, DeRozan, Williams, & Nurkic

Caruso, Dosunmu, KCP, Kuzma, & Williams/Birch
