Got a day off from school today so I decided to post this trade that has been on my mind.
Trade Breakdown:
Cavs: H. Barnes
Cleveland needs a legitimate starting forward if they want to contend in the east. Barnes is a good placeholder that can do all the right things on both ends of the floor. It also returns some much needed size to the cavs lineup, as this would move Okoro is backup SG. They clearly do not care about future draft capital, so throwing in a couple of future SRPs from other teams should not be an issue.
Starters: Garland, Mitchell, Barnes, Mobley, Allen
Bench: Rubio, Okoro, Osman, Love, Lopez
Kings: C. LeVert, D. Windler, 2026 SRP (from CLE; via LAL), 2027 SRP (from CLE; via DEN)
They get a better tertiary scoring option along with a couple of valuable future SRPs. They also take a flyer on Windler, hoping he can somewhat live up to his potential.
Starters: Fox, LeVert, Huerter, Murray, Sabonis
Bench: Mitchell, Monk, Davis, Lyles, Holmes
