Nuggets pair up Serbian "brate" (brothers) Bogdan and Jokic and also get off MPJ's (and Nnaji's) contract giving them more roster flexibility and depth. Deandre Hunter can be discount MPJ and the Nuggets can open up more minutes for PWat and Strawther.
The Hawks commit to go young. They would almost certainly need to include a trade with the Spurs to get their 2025 first back, similar to the Nets-Rockets picks trade before the Nets sent Mikal Bridges to the Knicks. Not exactly sure what that would look like, but they would have 3 firsts in 2025 to work with to try to make that happen.
Last but not least, the Magic- I'm not a huge Magic guy, but I love this trade for them. The starting/closing lineup could be:
Suggs
KCP
MPJ
Franz
Paolo
It's a little unorthodox, but they're guaranteed to have a mismatch on offense w/ a center having to guard Paolo/Franz, or being pulled out to the 3-point line. On defense, Paolo can guard most centers and it allows him to save his energy for the offensive end. They'd have Wendell Carter Jr. and Mo off the bench to cover more traditional center responsibilities and can flex them into starting lineups when needed and they still have Jonathan Isaac as a jack of all trades defender to come off the bench for any of the front court starters. They would need to sign some free agent guards (maybe bring back Markelle Fultz), but they have plenty of cap space to work with.
Let me know what y'all think.
