This trade is good for all teams because it either helps their rebuild or adds depth. For the Knicks, it may look like they give a lot but the picks that they are trading would be from the 20-30 range and they had to let go of some of the vets that they had that weren’t playing. For the Jazz they are getting a former all star in D’Angelo Russell who on a team like this i’m confident could be a 23 ppg scorer as well as after this season his contract expires and if they play fournier his value can increase. For the pistons they got what they wanted out of Bojan which is a first plus Cam Reddish who is on an expiring deal and for next season once the contracts of Beasley Prince and McGloughlin are up they have 22 mil to spend. For the Wolves they get a lot of value for a small price. For what the Knicks were getting they would be willing to give up Sims plus Olynyk, Burks, and Rose don’t have much value to their teams and would for sure get pt on a team like Minnesota.
