The Rockets definitely are teams who are willing to eat some bad contracts.
Also, they said they want a frp back for Gordon, but i rlly don't think Gordon himself can get a frp for them, so here they eat some contracts to get it
76ers:
Team Direction: Buying
Depthness is needed for them, this is the problem killing them last season
They will get back 3 rotational piece here, Gordon can play some backup 2 beside Melton, providing good scoring, and keep building the former Rockets squad
They also get Doug McDermott, a great shooting frontcourt guy, should consistently score every game
Also Zach Collins to play backup C after losing DJ
They are breaking up the Tobi's 37M contract and the Korkmaz bad contract into 3 great rotational players, so frp has to be given if they're going all in, which they need after Harden took a pay-cut
Lakers:
Team Direction: Buying
Clearly, they still need more shooting for the team after all those FA signings. Buddy Hield has been rumoured for like 3 years alrdy, i think it's still a good fit, and Lakers should still get him
Trading Westbrook is needed, he's clearly not a fit there, and also he just downgraded for so so much alrdy. For PG, Nunn will come back, also, Bron can also do what a PG does alrdy, so that's not a worry
For clearing up 26M, and also getting an impactful player, this valuable 2027 frp has to be given
Spurs:
Team Direction: Rebuilding
They don't even hv a PG rn besides Tre Jones, yes they can just use more Tre Jones and Blake Wesley, but i think they can also give some of the mins to Westbrook, to see if he can up his value back up and go for a S&T next season. And there's not too big of a point to buyout him
See if Pop can make Brook good again
Eating the 26M and giving out rotational pieces will get them the valuable 2027 frp from the Lakers
Pacers:
Team Direction: Regrp
I rlly do think, Buddy's mins should be given to Durate, to give him more playing time to up his game, or maybe just give it to Mathurin
Pacers still don't have a PF, and they ain't no tanking teams, after Turner sayin he's interested to stay and play with Haliburton
So i think trading Buddy away plus clearing the Theis bad contract for Harris is a wise move for them, see if Harris can improve them much
Since they're taking a 37M contract in for 2 years, they will get a srp from that
Yes u must think they should get more, but rmb they're also clearing up Theis
I honestly think this is a great trade idea, it fits all team's direction
