Why each team does this:

Miami Heat- They get another scorer to help Jimmy Butler come playoff time, a perfect player in the backcourt with Donovan Mitchell in Pat Bev, a true center in Myles Turner to move Bam to the four, and a backup four who can score in Carmelo Anthony. The signing of Cousins gives the heat the freedom of trading Dedmon at the deadline for a upgrade at the center. A second would be traded to the thunder to take off the protections of the 2025 first round pick.

Dallas Mavericks- They get a Brunson replacement in Kyle Lowry and a Powell replacement in yurtseven all for a bad contract, Powell (who they would be able to sign back in the offseason), Green (a player who doesn't fit especially after drafting Hardy), and a first to attach to the Bertans Contract.

Utah Jazz- They Get their big haul of picks while getting a crazy amount of young players.

Indiana Pacers- They get an expiring contract that can be flipped in Powell, a young player with potential in Highsmith, and a first for Turner.

Rockets- They get the backcourt partner they were looking for to be paired with Green. Herro takes the playmaking duties away from Green allowing him to focus and grow his scoring skills. They rockets have to give up a player that has requested a trade in Martin and a player too old for their rebuild in Nwabe and two first round picks. This trade also might help with deciding on weather or not to extend Kevin Porter Jr. or not.
