I know the Heat are coming off a disappointing season, but I think they are a couple moves away from becoming a championship contender. With these moves, I think they will be one of the top teams in the league this season.

1. Trade Tyler Herro, Precious Achiuwa, Kendrick Nunn, and Dipo plus FRPs for Zach LaVine

This has to be enough if you are the Bulls. Youngsters with potential in Herro and Achiuwa are valuable. Nunn and Dipo are guys that can help you stay competitive in the near future. Add in the capital and this is a good deal. LaVine may be growing unhappy by the Bulls' failure, and it might be a mutual agreement to part ways. Plus, he's about to get expensive. For the Heat, got Bing up Herro and Achiuwa is easy because Herro wants to become a celebrity and Precious hasn't gotten minutes. Oladipo is coming off another injury, and Nunn is the only loss here.

2. Sign Kyle Lowry to a $90 million contract

Lowry would be great next to LaVine thanks to his superior defense and leadership for thus Heat squad. The contract isn't too bad either.

Decline option on Iggy for cap room

We need cap space to complete the signings, so let's let Iggy, 37, walk.

Then let's sign Josh Hart using the midlevel, and also keep Dragic in the backcourt. A following backcourt of Goran and Hart would be nice. Next, we retain Ariza to be our starting power forward and Robinson as our backup swingman. We give Okpala playing time at the 4 in the backup five. We also sign Dedmon to be a backup center. Finally, for more depth, we sign Gabe Vincent,Nemenja Bjleica and Max Strus to Olay roles just in case of injuries.

I think all of these moves make the Heat a strong team, and for the Bulls, a nice rebuild to start with.
