This is unlikely but if KD and Kyrie were to both leave, you have a scenario where I think all 4 teams in this trade are happy.

For the Blazers, they receive one of the best in the world and give Dame a chance to finally make a run at a title. They lose some young pieces and an extension eligible Simons and some useful '25 picks, but it is worth it for what they receive.

Miami picks up Kyrie for Lowry, Herro, Jovic and a 2nd. I think the Heat would go for this, they lose some backcourt depth but receive an elite 3-level scorer even with his off court issues.

The mavs receive Lowry to partner with Luka, a true secondary ball handler to organise their offense rather than spencer dinwiddie and receive also a great rotational piece in Seth Curry. They lose an expiring Dwight Powell who really didn't get much time on the floor in the playoffs.

Onto the Nets who receive an absolute haul for their two all stars. They receive 5 picks and two first round selections from this year's draft to build around, including number 6 selection Shaedon Sharpe. They receive useful expiring contracts in BLedsoe and Powell to create future cap room. But the main pieces they receive are dynamic young guards in Herro and Simons that can become the cornerstones of their franchise with Ben Simmons moving forward.
