For Sac:
Grab Washington RFA rights. On paper is a perfect stretch 4 to pair with Sabonis and Murray.
Hayward can be the 6th man on an expiring contract next year, who could be packaged with picks to get a big time player if wanting too.
Dump Holmes long contract, while bringing on Plumlee expiring who can play off DFO and give a different look at backup 5 to Metu.
Opens up roster spot to sign either Queta or Ellis.
For Charlotte:
Get off Haywards contract to open up financial flexibility for the offseason.
Buy low on Holmes who could be a nice fit with Lamello in the PNR, like his was with Haliburton before he got traded.
Barnes is expiring, so could send him else where for assets or resign or sign and trade in offseason.
Save $9m this season and $30m this offseason.
A lot of players but I think makes sense for both teams.
