If this happened before the trade deadline, I'd be a very happy Knicks fan. I also think this is a fair trade for the Bulls and Raptors and will make sure to go into that in the team by team below.

Knicks: The Knicks get one of the best 3 and D wings who's available in Anunoby. He's improved on the offensive end and is solid if unspectacular from 3. But more importantly, he's one of the best defenders in the league, is still young and on a great contract. I really think he would take the Knicks to the next level and while it wouldn't make them contenders, the starting five of Brunson-RJ-Anunoby-Randle-Mitch would give teams a lot of trouble and could definitely win a playoff series and if some things broke their way, they could make the conference finals like the Hawks did a couple of years ago. I also don't think you can underestimate the value of RJ returning to the SG position. He's struggled this year as a SF and this would have him see more favorable matchups on defense and put him in better positions on offense. You also have a bench of Deuce-IQ-Grimes-Hernangomez-Drummond which would pack some punch and I think actually be able to score well, rebound well, defend well and hopefully give the starting unit some rest (which every Thibs team will desperately need). Hernangomez is mainly here for depth reasons so that Randle can occasionally take a break. Drummond would be a big help, especially with Mitch out as he is still a rebounding machine.

Bulls: The Bulls have had an incredibly disappointing season. Yes, Ball has been injured but the rest of the team has never put it together and it seems like there are big enough flaws that even if he returns and is somehow his old self after over a year of being injured they don't seem like they're a team who can win a playoff series, let alone contend. They swap a center they don't use much in Drummond for a younger center in Hartenstein who would do much better in a more open and creative offense under Donovan. They do give up White but they've been moving away from him for several seasons and it's hard to see them keeping him. This way, they at least get 3 second round picks to package in a trade or just to refill their very bare cupboard of picks.

Raptors: The Raptors get a solid package in this trade. They get 4 FRPs, one of them being unprotected and 3 being protected. They also get 3 young players and no long term salary as well. Reddish is barely an asset at this point but he could still turn into something. The real prizes are White and Obi. Obi can finally be freed from Thibs and get some proper run under a coach who actually enjoys developing and playing his young players in Nick Nurse. White is also a player who has shown some promise and if the Raptors end up trading FVV then they have a young PG to try and work with as well.

Hoping this one happens and we get to see the best Knicks team in a really long time! Sound off in the comments!
