Trade Breakdown

Lakers send Westbrook to Cleveland for the expiring contract of Kevin Love and the sign and trade for Collin Sexton to make the deal Work. In this deal it becomes a mutually valuable deal as Cavs no longer benefit from Love since they wanna prioriize Mobley and Allen in the frontcourt and they also got Markannen. Collin Sexton would love his starting role with the Lakers and would reach new heights in his career

The Lakers front office is reluctant to attach any FRP in a trade but yes they gotta sacrifice one in the lonzo trade because he is not gonna come cheaper. Lonzo Ball didn't really blend with the Chicago Setup and it will be interesting for Bulls to see what THT and Nunn can bring along for them as both of them are pure scorers meanwhile lakers would expect lonzo ball to make the plays and run the offense while playing good defense as he usually does

Resigning Malik Monk for the MLE and Melo will be priorities for lakers resigning list and yeah both of them would hopefully resign to run it back

Lakers decide to give another chance with 2 guaranteed vet contracts to Thomas and Drummond to prove themselves and be valuable pieces off the Bench
