With lakers looking to add a pick up in the draft the wizards will be willing to send their 15th pick in exchange for the 30th pick and Montrezl Harrell.With wizards having frontcourt issues Montrezl Harrell will be a perfect piece as their sixth man to bring that energy and offensive rebounds and dunks off the bench. Yes he is a defensive liability but still harrell will be a vital piece in washington as their sixth man.

Why Lakers do this?

Lakers will trade for Derrick Favours and Jahilil Okafor who can play rotational minutes at center alongside AD. When Favours was in Pelicans he was a key part in the defense and Lakers would be expecting the same role from favours in lakers as well and jahilil Okafors role will be to do the postwork and work the offense in the paint. So the lakers will have 2 decent centers in the frontcourt to play rotational minutes. Cameron Thomas - Cameron Thomas is a walking bucket, it’s that simple.

This kid is one of the best pure scorers in the NCAA this year, averaging 23 points per game as a freshman and doing it from all three levels.

He has good size for a shooting guard at 6-foot-4, 210 lbs. and will likely get even stronger as he fills out with age.

He projects as a guy who will be a productive scorer at the next level and even though he didn’t shoot lights out from 3-point range in college, should be able to add that shot to his game in the NBA where his usage rate will not be as high and he won’t be getting double teamed every time he touches the ball.

What I like about Thomas is that he already has the feel of a big game player who is not afraid of tough competition or the big stage. He played very well in the tournament and looked like one of the best scorers in college basketball in LSU’s two games.
