Why Raptors do this?

Raptors head to the offseason with quite alot of areas to address and they lost the trade with blazers that sent Norman Powell.KCP can be a low cost great option for raptors as they only have to dish in 2 srps and a average player to match the TPE while they can use FA to cover up other patches in the squad. KCP will bring in both scoring and defense to Toronto.

Why Hawks do this?

Hawks heading into the offseason with alot of cap space can either go for a sign and trade with spurs for Derozan or directly sign him in FA.They could even sign kawhi on a max deal if he opts out of his PO.So with the Hawks trying to compete they would be interested in this package offered by lakers that consist of THT,Kyle Kuzma a FRP and 3 srps which is a really good deal for hawks. With a chance of collins leaving Kyle Kuzma can be a vital piece in the trade for Hawks along with THT.

Why Lakers do this?

The cap space is a major issue for lakers heading into the offseason and firstly they unload cap by trading KCP to raptors and hopefully Harrell declines his PO in order to get a better deal in FA. So in this trade scenario the lakers are completely under the cap and Mike conley who was named an all star player joins LA. It will be a huge boost for lakers and De Andre Hunter brings alot to the table for lakers and can play at SG.

What DeAndre Hunter brings to the table for LA

Size/Length - Good NBA build/body, has size to play/defend multiple positions. Broad shoulders, balanced frame, functional strength. Long 7'2" wingspan.

Athleticism - Not elite at any one thing, but explosive off 2 feet, solid burst/quickness. Can change speeds well within the half court. Good athlete by NBA standards.

Defensive versatility - Excellent defender, switchable, fundamentally sound. Uses length to disrupt passing lanes/shot attempts. Quick hands/feet, possesses the lateral quickness and strength to cover 1-4 on a consistent basis.

Shooting/Scoring - Improved all around scorer this season (+6 pts/game this season), has improved efficiency with more looks. Can score inside/outside, shooting 44.6% on 3 pt attempts (2.7 attempts/game). Rated as an excellent overall offensive player (88th percentile) via Synergy. Much improved shot diversity.

Fundamentals - Sound player, good footwork, able to get square quickly, smooth shot mechanics. Fairly crafty, uses jab steps/ball fakes to generate space. Good foundation to build upon.

Creating/Playmaking upside - Improve handle this season, slowly expanding dribbling diversity outside of straight line drives. Ball handling doesn't appear to drastically limit fludity/athleticism. Still needs to improve, but shows flashes of creating off the bounce. Has upside as a low-key playmaker, excellent (98th percentile) as a P/R ball-handler, plus AST:TO ratio (1.5 AST:TO ratio), smart/calculated passer.

BBIQ/Feel - Smart player, moves well without the ball, limits his mistakes, safe/reliable player on the court. Good job scoring within the flow of the game, doesn't force a ton of shots. Role player potential - Projects to be a useful/valuable player due to physical tools/skill level, fits in the modern NBA. Doesn't demand the ball, can play alongside good players, fits majority of NBA systems. Has some high level upside as well, reserved player off the court, but has a quiet confidence/toughness about him.

Signing Cody Zeller can solve the frontcourt issues for Lakers. He is an excellent finisher in the paint and a good rebounder aswell. He runs the floor well plus his addition is great since he is a great free throw shooter among the centers which is an area lakers need to improve overall.
