This is what I believe the Mavericks will do this offseason:
Acquire John Collins In a sign and trade for Richardson and Kleber. All signs point to them targeting Collins in the off-season and the rumor was that at the trade deadline they offered Kleber and picks. The Mavs might have to add a pick to make it happen, but I think adding Richardson to Kleber should be able to get it done.
Re-sign Tim Hardaway Jr. To a 5 year/$100 million deal. He's been money for the Mavs for 2 years now and deserves to get paid. The years may end up being different but I expect it to be around 20 million.
Give Josh Hart the full mid level exception. I don't know how much he'd command in the off-season, but he would be a perfect fit for the team as the Mavs need backup wing help.
This is a guilty pleasure of mine and kind of wishful thinking, but if it's possible to get Daniel Theis through a sign and trade with CHI, I would be ecstatic. He would be the solid defensive backup center we desperately need.
