WHY CAVS DO IT:

They get a younger guy than Wade and on a longer contract. They don't need him with Mobley + Markkanen. They only have Kabengele as Allen back up, It's safe to say Brown is better than him. That pick won't be a big deal.

WHY MAVS DO IT:

Wade is 3 years older so he doesn't have Brown's upsides, but he would be the perfect Maxi back up we don't have. He shot 37% from 3 on 3,5 attempts per game.

Then, we dump Trey with Cavs second instead of cutting him to give his spot to Frank.
