Kasparas Jakucionis is my guy for this class. Incredible passer, great shooter, huge guard, makes incredibly quick decisions. I wish his defense was better but he’s gonna be great. I would rank him top 10 right now

Not a hot take anymore after this game but Kon Kneuppel lived up to the hype and more - not ruling out top 5 for him. Insane shooter, good athleticism and can really get to the rim. Lock for top 10 easily

Will Riley dropping 31 off the bench was incredible to watch. Great mover and incredible with the ball in his hands, he’s an incredible ball handler for his size and shooter. He will be an offensive force for Illinois. I’m high on him right now.

VJ did not look good and that was extremely evident if you watched the game. He’s an insane athlete, but that won’t matter if he never hones his other skills. Poor shooter, he went 0-3 early then stopped shooting. He has a super quick first step so he should be able to greate soon enough, but his loose handle and lack of a consistent jumper will make it difficult for him to be a top option. He’s an insane defender and rim protector and transition athlete so you can’t really drop him too far, but he’s barely top 10 for me now. Need to see more to see if a lot of the struggle was that this was his first college game playing against one of the best defenses in the country, but he’s not a top 5 lock anymore
