Brown may be leaving in free agency anyways. While Barret is still very young and under a TO for the next couple year's. This also allows them to acquire Buddy Heild. One of the best 3pt shooter's in the league at over 40% efficiency. Barrett and Heild salary matches up to Brown's alone. This makes the Celtics even more deep and extremely dangerous as they look to win the Championship this year. Offense has been where they have struggled, adding Malcom, Gallinari, Barrett and Buddy Heild. That would make them lethal offensively. The Net's replenish all their lost picks this way. They get their Star player in Brown, one of the best defensive stretch bigs in the game they can resign. Along with a ton of young and upcoming possible star player's, if not really good player's as well. Completely hits a reset for them, as they replenish their whole team with promising young player's on top of the picks. This is by far the best trade they could make. New York Knicks get the Superstar player they've always wanted. While IND gets the 1st for Turner and a couple 2nds from BOS for Heild. As they look to rebuild and open up cap. They also lock up another valuable 2027 1st UNP from the Lakers for taking on Russell Westbrook's salary for the year. Lakers then get their man Kyrie Irving to make a now legit run for the playoffs and look towards a much brighter future and some fun basketball for the Lakers and their fans.

BOS could ask for a 1st here from the Net's. Barrett is young, cheaper and has upside. However he's not Jalen Brown. So if I have to throw in a 1st if I'm the Net's to sweeten the deal. Then of course you do that.

Lakers have also expressed an interest in Cam Reddish as well. Maybe if the Net's aren't too high on him. Maybe the Lakers could throw in their 23/25 2nd('s) for Cam as well.

Or maybe the Knicks could look to keep Cam, I know they don't want to part ways with Grimes. I feel they definitely would for Kevin Durant though. So maybe they do and they throw in another couple 2nds or so to keep Cam themselves also. Since they're giving up a lot.

But it's KD and the Net's will want as much as they can get. This is also similar to what they would offer Donavan Mitchell anyways. Either way, a similar trade like this could definitely happen. If these teams were to all be in on this anyways.
