This trade combines 3 different rumors between these teams. I wnt back and looked at my previous trade involving these teams and tweaked in to improve the value the Rockets recieve and my overall thoughts on each piece involved.

Starting with the Pacers, they move Myles Turner, TJ Warren and Justin Holiday to the Warriors for Andrew Wiggins and 7 and 14. Wiggins has massively improved on defense during his time in Golden State and would be able to start at either forward position. With adding the 7th and 14th pick they can safely move either of 13 or 14 to Houston for Gordon and either 23 or 24. The Pacers still want to compete so this trade keeps the core of Domantas Sabonis, Caris LeVert and Malcolm Brogdon while adding two players who can help win and 3 draft picks this year. Player I could see the Pacers selecting with their lottery picks include Jonathan Kuminga, Moses Moody, James Bouknight, Josh Giddey, Jalen Johnson, Franz Wagner, Davion Mitchell, or Chris Duarte (Duarte > Kispert). At 23 the Pacers could target Trey Murphy III, Jared Butler, Cameron Thomas, Ayo Dosunmu, Sharife Cooper, Usman Garuba, Isaiah Jackson, Tre Mann, Josh Primo, or Jaden Springer.

For the Warriors they would definitely rather land Lillard or Beal with their lottery picks and Wiggins's contract but I would worry about the fit between the stars. Golden State's star players have encouraged the front office to move the picks in order to maximize their window for winning another title. With neither Beal or Lillard formally requesting a trade the Warriors are running short on time before the draft. While they could always draft players and then trade them later for Lillard or Beal, both the Blazers and Wizards may not like the players selected. Draft picks loose value once a plyer is attached to them. This trade gives the Warriors much needed depth with Turner, Warren, Wood, and J.Holiday. Turner and Warren could start with Curry, Thompson and Green. Both Turner and Warren are in the prime of their career and are ready to compete at the highest level. Justin Holiday gives the Warriors some much needed shooting of the bench. Holiday shot 40% from 3 last year and played in every game for the Pacers last year. But by far the most interesting part of the trade is adding Christian Wood. Wood is a borderline All-Star player and would probably project to be their 6th man. Wood provides a better offensive presence than Myles Turner and Draymond Green and would probably be in the line-up to close out games. Wood also provides the roster flexibility to move the declining Draymond Green in the future.

Lastly the Rockets shed Eric Gordon's contract and move up into the draft lottery. The Rockets get back Jeramy Lamb (salary purposes) and Aaron Holiday a young point guard with some potential to be a very good defensive player and shooter (see brother Jrue as an example). As the team is rebuilding keeping Christian Wood would make sense but adding a package that includes James Wiseman and Golden State's unprotected 2023 1st (Curry is under contract until 2022) could seem like a steal. That in addition to adding other young players in Jordan Poole and Eric Paschall. If the Rockets add Wiseman from the Warriors, they would all but lock them into selecting Jalen Green at #2. At 13 the Rocket could look to select a player like Jalen Johnson or Josh Giddey. The team could prove deadly in the coming years if a young core of Porter Jr, Green, Wiseman, Tate, Martin Jr, and whoever the select at 13 reach their potential.
