If Heild was to get starters mins and kept that average. He'd surpass Steph Curry in made 3's by a couple hundred or so. Heild is the only other player behind Steph and Klay who shoots the 3 over 40%. So he's a very valuable asset to any team and possibly the best made 3's shooter in the league, or could become it potentially. He already leads the NBA in most made 3's, I believe it was around 1,115. Steph had 904 and no one else was even close to Buddy Heild in makes in 5 seasons. So he holds a tremendous amount of value to any contending team.

Heild is a guy that can hit the 3 off a pull-up, off screen's and off the catch. While he's also a very good passer, doesn't turn the ball over and can get you a couple steals a game too. He's o shorter SG, but his size strength and I.Q make up for that. Especially his abilities on the offensive end. While being on a team with LeBron James and Anthony Davis, he'd get so many open money 3's. 🤑 Not even gonna call them looks, it's going in. While speaking of Heild.

How about Josh Richardson, coming off a season where he'd recently reached a 40% shot from 3pt range. Another SG they could either start, since he gives more length. Use Buddy as that huge scoring burst off the bench. Imo, I'd start Buddy, because he's the best shooter all around and can do it in any way. Yet it may help to keep Richardson going if he did get the start. Then maybe give Buddy the majority of the minutes, but use him more as the 6th man. Richardson may offer a little more on D if locked in. Idk, either way they add that shooting need.

With that out the way, you get a great pass first crafty 3&D/slashing guard. Who has a high I.Q and gets those sneaky steals. A guy that can handle the ball, control the tempo. Someone you can trust and that AD would love especially. LeBron too I'm sure, as AD would get those perfect timely passes he desires so much and is frustrated he's not getting. Which is why he loved Rondo so much. McConnell plays a very similar game to Rondo and would fit seamlessly withing the Lakers system.

He could also start and give Nunn more time to come around from injury if he needs it.

Another PG I'd signed in a hurry from the Pacers recently waived is Washington Jr.

Lastly, they recieve the savy and playoff experienced Daniel Theis. Which the Celtics fans would have love to have kept by what I heard. Only they couldn't afford to keep him. He adds that perfect I.Q small ball tough/quick defensive C instincts. That is smaller yet can move quick. Always knows where to be and can get you a quick bucket around the basket, or from a catch and shoot/ roll/ off screen catch. You could experience starting him, or Damien Jones. Maybe he becomes a 3rd string big, or maybe even in some instances/match-ups you can slide him into the PF and AD to C. Say against a team like the GSW. Theis could then lock up and annoy Draymond, while Davis is free of him and can put his work in on Looney. Gives you that perfect quick footed big to alternate line-ups with.

Lakers give up a couple picks, but so what. Maybe they can even get a couple 2nds in return here also for the 1sts.. Idk. It's a pretty big ask considering you're already getting the team to take on Russ at 47+mil. They not only cleared your cap of him. But gave you a great SG, two other really good experienced players and the extra 10 million to go trade for Richardson. So I think that warrants the 2 1sts and a 2nd they have to give here. Because you have to look at it as the Lakers also getting that extra 10 million to go get a player like Richardson to add on top of all these other guy's.

Or maybe instead of Richardson who I like a lot. They could also call up the Jazz for Patrick Beverley with that extra cash and pick swap. While they could also try to offer THT for Clarkson or possibly a couple other younger player's if not him.

Or, even better like in a previous trad I proposed. Throw THT a pick swap and take the extra 10mil from the Pacers. Then get Bogdonovic! That would be a huge move for the Lakers. I feel that they may be better served with Richardson, Beverley or Clarkson though considering they could then keep THT. They need as much help as possible and don't need to spend all the money on one player. As much as I like Bogy.

Maybe THT a swap then Beasley/Vanderbilt would be much better for the Lakers. Over a Bogy deal. They'd have to do the Pacers deal to get the other 10 mil for this trade to happen though. This could be by far the best if Jazz would include those two young guy's. 🔥
