Lots of smoke, as it always seems, between Charlotte and Indy. The latest is the continued interest Charlotte has in Myles Turner, and the continued interest Indy has in PJ Washington. So, both teams go all in with their largest trade assets and compliment each other.

Indy lands both Gordon Hayward and Washington. A balance between retooling and rebuilding with Hayward for the present and Washington for the future. Indy now has a starting lineup of Sabonis, Washington, Hayward, Duarte, and Brogdon. Problem is, if Brogdon gets healthy, they’ll play their way out of a top five pick. The hope of a real difference maker through the draft dies.

Charlotte lands the defensive center they need to really compete in the playoffs, along with a wing who can get 20 points per night when needed. LeVert certainly helps with the loss of Hayward. Charlotte would then have a very versatile lineup of Turner, Bridges, LeVert, Ball, and Rozier. They could interchange LeVert or Oubre Jr. depending on matchup and who makes for the best sixth man. Plumlee and Oubre Jr. help lead a strong second unit.

Give me your thoughts.
