With all 3 of these teams off to a rough start to the 2021 season, they come together on a 8 player deal that should help each team fix lineup issues, fill holes on the depth chart and/or start trending back upwards.
INDY has tried the Sabonis/Turner combo for years and it's never been a good fit. By moving Turner, Sabonis can take over at C. Grant would be the starting PF, and Hield would replace LeVert as the teams SG. Jones give the Pacers needed big man depth with the loss of Turner.
Like Indy, SAC has been playing the same core for a few years without success. With this deal Barnes would move to PF while LeVert would play SF and give the Kings another scorer in the starting lineup. Lamb and Jackson give the team some much needed size and depth on the wings.
DET has been getting obliterated on the boards and inside the paint all season long so this trade would add the size/toughness they need. Turner would start at C, allowing Stewart to go back to a more comfortable role on the second unit. Bagley would get a fresh start with the Pistons and could team up with Kelly Olynyk to replace Jerami at the PF spot.
