SUCCESS

DISCLAIMER: I WAS SUPPOSED TO SEND THE PISTONS A FIRST ROUNDER

WHY ATLANTA

If it's true that John Collins is a threat to team morale, if you can move him for a good return, you do so despite how young and talented he is. In this trade they bring in Jerami Grant who has done very well since joining the Detroit Pistons. The most underrated part of this trade is the Trae Young/Buddy Hield pairing. Think Steph and Klay of the East. Marvin Bagley is a good young piece to have coming off the bench and the team itself is actually deeper from this trade.

Starting Lineup

Trae Young, Buddy Hield, Bogdan Bogdanovich, Jerami Grant, Clint Capela

WHY SACREMENTO

John Collins is the real catch. He is a young talented player just waiting to blossom and pairs scarily well with Richaun Holmes with his stretch 4 abilities. With him having a new contract the Kings can easily build around their young pieces. They would be a VERY good defensive team as Davion Mitchell moves into the starting point guard slot alongside Tyrese Haliburton.

Startin Lineup

Davion Mitchell, Tyrese Haliburton, Harrison Barnes, John Collins, Richaun Holmes

WHY DETROIT

The Pistons would have a real athletic threat and co-ballhandler on the court alongside rookie Cade Cunningham. De'Aaron Fox has somehow become an underrated player over the last few years. The Pistons thought that they could build around Killian Hayes and Cade Cunningham but Hayes' lack of speed, athleticism, off-hand ball-handling weaknesses, and inconsistent finishing has been painful to watch. Insert De'Aaron Fox who is an absolute beast on the fast break, a threat in the paint, and has solid distribution skills and underrated defense. This pairing could have traces of Isiah Thomas (electric finisher and fiery leader) and Joe Dumars (calm spirited do it all shooting guard). Gallo could also use a change of scenery and if anything could be a solid vet. Dwane Casey has quite the skill in getting more than the average out of veteran players. Also, with Josh Jackson having only half of a year left on his contract and the Pistons having loads of money I'd whisper in his ear to come back home in the offseason but if not, this trade is worth it.

Starting Lineup

De'Aaron Fox, Cade Cunningham, Hamidou Diallo, Saddiq Bey, Isiah Stewart
