An article came out earlier that a proposed trade mainly involving OG for Wiseman and Kuminga came out. I don’t think that’s enough for both sides. So I added a few pieces that may seem to make the deal positive for both parties here.

IMO I think the Raps would win this deal no doubt and for the future of the team. Get the the C of their future, then another legit, young, and promising wing in Kuminga that they can develop as well and a vet off the bench in Otto Porter Jr. that would be much needed. Get younger and build around Scottie.

GS gets a player in OG who has a bad tendency to get hurt but when healthy is a difference maker on both ends of the court. A legit ball handler and outside scorer with Malachi who has stated he isn’t happy with his role and feels he can used better elsewhere. And a pick which it sounded as tho the Warriors would ask for in the deal. Also another factor. Wiggins I believe has one more year left on the contract. He has improved his stock with Golden State and they may not be able to afford to keep him. OG Is on a team friendly deal with 3 years and with Klay, Steph, and Draymond not getting any younger. The 3 years may fit better in their timeline.

All in all, even tho the Raps do win the deal in the long run. GS wins the deal as well but in a more win now mode over the next few years. So I believe it benefits both sides. But in different timetables of the teams. Toronto knows how to develop most of the young talent that comes in and puts them in a special place to win. GS has the pieces, it’s just a matter of retooling to win in the next few years and get the most out of what they have. Even tho it’s hard to see a deal like this go through, I could actually see it going through this summer.
