Not my preferred method of the offseason but not terrible IMO

Edit: (a huge chunk of the value in this is contractually. I believe that Houston could surprise people if either Jalen Green has a breakout year, or Paolo/ whoever we draft is league ready and solid. In that event, the rockets could make a package for a younger star to start the competing process in the calibre of a Dejounte Murray or someone similar using both expiring contracts and young guys and picks, and if not, they can run out a bunch of young guys and see if any are solid and move from there. Just an idea)
