This is honestly insane. I'm shocked that we've gotten to this point, but if Kyrie won't play anymore, the Nets may as well get a player in exchange for him. The rockets would most likely be okay to take on Kyrie's dead money, and let Wall go for little to no value. Claxton is just an additional peice to make money work and would be compensation for taking null assets in Kyrie. I'm such a Kyrie fan so this really hurts to see, but if he's going to retire, the nets may as well manoeuvre his deal to at least get someone. If there's anyone else they could get in exchange let me know, but the lowest value guy I could think of was Wall so I figured what the heck. I really don't want Kyrie to retire, but you can't make him take the vaccine so at the end of the day nobody knows what's gonna happen.
